The Role: The Delivery Optimization lead will play a pivotal role in our strategic transformation from a people intensive complex organization into next generation highly efficient and effective organization applying LEAN process and automated solutions to deliver excellence. They are responsible for scoping, designing, and implementing an integrated technical architecture relating to fulfilment / delivery. You will work across commercial operations and technology to develop the vision and strategy for a highly optimized organization that sources and transforms process and tools. Responsibilities include creating, planning, and delivering transformational projects for the company using state of the art technologies, developed either in house or in partnership with vendors. With the product delivered to our external customers.These efforts are occurring within the broader context of achieving SPGI Enterprise goals of Operational Excellence. In short, The Optimization and Automation Lead will explore options, recommend solutions, program manage and execute in alignment with the roadmap to a Best in Class combined Platts / ENR business.The ideal candidate must be technical enough and up to date with modern technology to streamline and automate manual processes.The Location: Houston, Denver, NYThe Impact: The Delivery Optimization role is critical to the success of the order to fulfilment and all aspects of product delivery to the customer. They oversee the architecture, process and drive accountability and strong performance to enhance and streamline the delivery environment. In addition, connect all key players across commercial operations, technology, and Enterprise to ensure S&P Commodity Insights delivery needs are prioritized and executed.Responsibilities:

  • Understanding current state delivery environment, requirements, and priorities
  • Provide accurate, relevant, and complete solution to NewCo org
  • Defining Delivery Operations NewCo Integration project objectives, project scope, roles & responsibilities
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and technology enhancements to ensure maximum efficiency and scale in NewCo organization
  • Integration planning that will eliminate duplication of efforts
  • Collaborate with Director, Delivery Operations, and other key stakeholders in the development of performance standards and long-term operational plans
  • Outlining a budget based on requirements and tracking costs to deliver NewCo org
  • Conduct quarterly business review updates to senior stakeholders highlighting accomplishments, road map and business risks
  • Identify operational obstacles (marketing, fulfilment, legal, reporting, etc.) and help build solutions that support efficiency for the front-line teams
  • Delivery operations lead for CSM, Order to Cash (Sunrise) and Salesforce integration
  • Develop process improvements to achieve cost effectiveness and time saving though automation
  • Make critical business decisions to meet business expectations.
  • Be involved in the technical community
  • Must be able to work independently or on a team
  • Create and Maintain documentation related to System Architecture, Solution Design and StandardsWhat We're Looking For:
