11:11 Solutions is looking for an experienced Principal Solutions Architect, Security (PSAS) to join our team. The PSAS Architect will be responsible for continued development of the pre-sales process and documentation associated with the security portfolio. The 11:11's Sales Team in acquiring and supporting partners and customers in their architecture, identification and acquisition of WAN solutions. The PSAS will also work with product teams to identify emerging solutions and security strategies within the industry to strengthen the 11:11 portfolio. The ideal candidate will also assist in the product awareness and enablement of the internal 11:11 sales and solutions teams and external partner teams to drive categorical growth. In partnership with sales teams, the role will engage on more strategic and complex opportunities to drive end customer requirements, validate contracted sales from an application and engineering standpoint and interface with other 11:11 teams to ensure a smooth hand-off and customer experience.
This is a full-time position based in the U.S.A, reporting to 11:11's VP of Solutions Architecture.

  • Presenting the 11:11's security strategy coherently and consistently to a technical and business audience ranging from C-level executives to network administrators and analysts

  • Work with Account Executive/Extended Sales Teams to develop customer relationship and solutions and assist in overall sales process

  • Using a consultative approach, develop high-level technical solutions and present to customers (Hardware, Software, Licensing, Professional Services)

  • Presenting 11:11 value proposition, benefits, key features, and functions across all solution sets

  • Ability to self-pace and self-set direction in a team environment to drive business

  • Collect business and technical requirements and then match those requirements to the 11:11 solutions portfolio

  • Drive whiteboard conversations

  • Craft customer facing presentations

  • Delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations

  • Generate hardware configurations (BoM)

  • Write statements of work (SoW) and develop Professional Service pricing

  • Ensure smooth transition from presales to transition and operations team with a focus on customer experience and project success

  • Maintain and develop technical and technology specific skill sets and certifications

  • Developing and maintaining a broad knowledge and understanding across all of 11:11's product portfolio

  • Driving product demonstrations, assisting channel through RFP responses and proposals

  • Contributing to 11:11's blogging and social media outlets

  • Assisting in providing ongoing training to 11:11 ecosystem


    • 15+ years of experience, which demonstrates a significant level of expertise in enterprise class network and security solutions

    • Deep technical knowledge and experience with the bulk of Fortinet Core Products

    • 3 to 5 years of technical pre-sales consultative experience (preferred)

    • Experience focused on issues related to security event resolution, incident response and/or deployment and management of SIEM, EDR and other security tools

    • Expertise in Windows Server OS & Client OS, MacOS, Linux, IT infrastructure, and logging architecture, some experience with public cloud (hyperscalers) a plus

    • Demonstrated experience providing senior leaders with guidance on risk management techniques/solving business risk challenges with security solution

    • Minimum CASP certification, CISSP preferred or one of the following: GCIH, CRISC, CISM, C-CISO

    • One or more of the following certifications CCDA/CCNP/CCIE or Juniper Equivalents and other non-Cisco certifications are highly preferred

    • Experience in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environments

    • Experience in a Cloud Services Provider (CSP) environments

    • Expert-level knowledge and experience with design, implementation and support of the following is highly preferred:

    • Complex routing and switching solutions (Cisco, Juniper, etc.)

    • Firewalls/VPNs (Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, etc.)

    • SDN architecture

    • Proven track record of establishing and solidifying strategic relationships with key customers and partners, while representing suites of complex IT or IT services solutions

    • Strategic solution selling experience

    • Strong presentation skills, both in person and over the phone, to a large audience or in one-on-one meetings (planned and ad-hoc)

    • Sound relationship skills in working with all business functions, such as product management, marketing, engineering or technical support

    • Demonstrates passion and enthusiasm. Self-confidence that translates well to customers, partners, and colleagues with an investigative mind

    • Communication skills, which facilitate both presentation and interaction with customers, and sharing knowledge with other team members

    • A self-starter with the ability and motivation to learn quickly

    • Excellent documentation skills with attention to detail

    • Up to 50% travel possible
