Hybrid Overhead Transmission Line Designer

Houston
, TX

System One is currently seeking a
Hybrid Overhead Transmission Line Designer on a 6-month contract position located in Houston, TX.

Designer Responsibilities:

Modify or create design packages in PLS.
Generate reports from PLS.
Assemble hardware and construction packages.
Prepare and verifies less complex engineering deliverables -Performs research and develops recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection

Designer Requirements:
- Experience with PLS-CADD, PLS-Pole, AutoCAD, MicroStation
- Diploma or certificate preferred, Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
- DRAFTING
- TRANSMISSION LINE
- TRANSMISSION LINE DESIGN
- AUTOCAD
- PLS
  
  Duration: 6 months
  
  Location: Houston, TX (hybrid role must live 50 miles from work site location)
  
  Pay Rate: $35.00-40.00/hr.
