Mechanical Assembler
Houston, TX 77064
Temp to Hire
1 st Shift - 9am-530pm + OT - Monday to Friday
$16-$18 an hour; based on experience
If you have assembly and testing experience or the willingness to learn a new trade, this is an incredible opportunity for you to put your assembling skills to work assembling small valve gauges.
What You Will Do:

Follow detailed assembly instructions and processes by assembling and testing of rotating equipment
Follow Quality Policy and Procedures, OSHA guidelines, and regulations governing workplace safety
Read and decipher schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions
Position or align components and parts, either manually or with hoists
Use hand tools or machines to assemble parts
Conduct quality control checks
Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications

What You Need:

High School degree or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of manufacturing processes and assembly experience is a huge plus, however, training is provided
Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components that are often very small
Color vision as position requires routine electrical and electronic products including color-coded wiring work
Flexibility to work overtime when required
