The Real Estate Project Coordinator will support the department in real estate, construction project management and facilities management activities.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Provide general administrative support
  • Work closely with vendors to obtain competitive bids for various work orders and small projects
  • Evaluate and level work order and small project bids, provide award recommendations
  • Source and recommend new vendors, maintain vendor list
  • Assign work orders and small projects to vendors
  • Monitor vendor performance and efficiency
  • Monitor small project schedules and construction costs
  • Assist in tracking and documenting department activity, project flow, and communication
  • Review and process invoices to ensure accuracy in billing. Verify costs are properly coded and allocated.
  • Effectively manage and prioritize simultaneous projects and responsibilities
  • Communicate with clients to keep them informed of project status
  • Coordinate and execute move management
  • Find opportunities for increased efficiencies and cost savings
  • Other duties as assigned Qualifications/Skills and Knowledge:
    • 5+ years of related experience working in facilities management or the construction industry
    • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university preferred
    • Excellent planning, time management, organization and prioritization skills
    • Attention to detail and persistent follow up
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment on a variety of assignments and technologies
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications and construction documents preferred
