Description Robert Half is currently working with a client looking to fill a Purchaser position. The Purchaser will be responsible for researching new vendors, products, and services and negotiating contracts for the best price and value. This may be the role for you if you are an experience purchaser with excellent communication, inventory management and analytical skills.

  Examine purchased products upon delivery and note any issues

  Attend and engage in meetings with stakeholders and staff

  Work with delivery and warehouse teams to ensure goods are received on time

  Research potential products, vendors, and services, comparing price and quality for the best deal
  
  
• 
  Revise records of purchased products
  
  
• 
  Discuss and negotiate contracts with clients and vendors
  
  
• 
  Engage with new vendors and products at events, shows, and exhibitions
  
  
• 
  Write orders to refill stock based on inventory monitoring
  
  
• 
  Perform cost analyses and write reports on purchases made Requirements - Notable analytical, quantitative and social skills
  
  
  -2+ years of Purchasing experience in an industrial, manufacturing, construction or related industry
  
  • 
    
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    
    -Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel
