The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience of Gas Pipeline/Storage scheduling experience, and operational knowledge of US natural gas pipeline and storage networks. • Effectively manages and assists others with the overall supply chain for natural gas and related products.
• Seamlessly resolves product supply issues as a result of planned or unplanned events
• Leads development of solutions to complex problems
• Inventory management in the process of scheduling, and oversees inventory targets for the team
• Ensures solutions are consistent with organization's objectives
• Interfaces with industry counterparts and 3rd party carriers to negotiate and coordinate supply and deliveries
• Authorizes the transfer of products
• Collaborates with trading on product supply needs
• Evaluates alternative logistics modes or routes for bulk movements
• Optimizes the product supply chain to reduce logistics costs
• Ensures that all scheduling processes take place in a correct and timely manner
• Responsible for analyzing the demand and supply balance
• Monitors and provides analyses of finished product inventory
• Familiar with NAESB contract set up and maintenance
• Willing to work closely with our legal, settlements, credit, compliance, tax and finance groups
• Forecast, schedule, and monitor daily gas commodity requirements to avoid any scheduling or balancing penalties within various utilities and pipelines requirements
• Assist with gas supply transportation and storage planning. Conduct the assumption of asset/capacity releases
• Identify, reconcile, report, and profitably manage energy imbalances on pipelines and LDCs, including monthly imbalance trading and cashouts.
• Assist in the reconciliation of energy volumes pertinent to receipts and deliveries by suppliers, transporters, distributors, and end-users.
• Provide timely feedback of operational conditions or situations that present threats or opportunities
