  Job Title: Planning/ Scheduling Lead - Risk Specialist
  
  Job Description
  
  This position is accountable for managing the project schedule and risk function. Lead the Project Controls Scheduling and Risk function to support capital EPC projects in the area of Risk analysis and mitigations.
  
  Job Responsibilities
  
  • Responsible for the quality and timeliness of schedule development and risk management.
  • Validates accuracy schedules (peer reviews) through statistical and logical analysis.
  • Monitors schedule trends and determine forecast through completion.
  • Monitor and work with project team about risks and barriers that may impact the ability to control schedules.
  • Provides input to proposals, strategic plans, presentations, and negotiations.
  • Participates in developing project controls policies and procedures.
  • Participates in evaluating inter-project workload and plans.
  • Makes presentations to management and clients.
  • Performs audits to ensure the quality of progress tracking, risk management, and planning/scheduling functions.
    
    Capabilities and Credentials
    
    • Highly proficient in Primavera, Acumen Risk, excel.
    • Ability to work in diverse, multi-company arrangements on large complex projects
    • Able to solve problems using sound professional judgement, creativity, and innovation.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to manage time and priorities while responsible for several simultaneous projects.
    • Business awareness and acumen: knowledge of project deliverables, time, and resource availability.
    • Positive attitude with strong relationship building skills.
      
      Job Qualifications
      
      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Business Management, or Construction Management.
      • Minimum of fifteen years of experience on projects ranging from small to large.
      • Interacts with corporate management and client representatives on a regular basis.
      • 10+ years' experience using Primavera P6 project Controls functions.
