What will I bedoing?
-- Oversees at a high level, the contract administration team, and monitors performance as it relates to contracts
-- Interprets and ensures contract policies and procedures are followed
-- Trains team in contracting procedures and works with teams across department
-- May perform contract data entry activities as needed to expedite contracts
KeyQualifications
-- Strong experience in planning and supervising activities of high achieving work team
-- Strong experience in development and administration of contract action plans
-- Strong initiative in carrying out responsibilities and ability to produce creative solutions to challenging problems
-- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with a wide range of persons at many levels of government and private industry
-- Experience in risk assessment/expenditure tracking
-- Experience with government procurement and contracting
-- Knowledge of applicable purchasing statutes and requirements
-- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, or other project management tools
-- Ability to work under pressure, under tight deadlines and manage conflicting priorities
Do you have---
-- Bachelor's degree in an applicable academic discipline orrelatedfield of study
-- 5years of experienceworking with local government, nonprofit programs, school or in job related duties
