Accounts Receivable Cancellation Clerk - Auto Dealership

Classification - Non-Exempt

This role will be responsible for various accounting and administrative operations relating to accounts receivable, processing extended service contracts, GAP and other ancillary product remittances, cancellation requests, lender disputes and chargebacks, schedule reconciliation, and communication.

Job Responsibilities:

• Process and post cancellations per lienholder requests, customer requests and cancellations per statements.
• Ensuring that all required documents are collected for the cancellation process.
• Process refund checks for cancellations to customers or lienholders.
• Maintain the schedules and work the reconciling items on the extended warranty/insurance reconciliations.
• Maintain AR records and perform related accounting duties.
• Follow up on past due accounts.
• Print and prepare receivable statements for mailing.
• Maintain files on AR statements.
• Other duties that may be assigned. Education/ Experience:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Prior automotive dealership experience is a must.
  • Must be detail oriented and possess good organizational skills.
  • Competent with computers, spreadsheets, and a calculator. ** All applicants must pass pre- employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug testing to qualify for employment**
