We are seeking someone with a keen eye for detail, a strong

You should be a person who thrives in a diverse environment and who

be successful in this role, you should have a sense of genuine,
engaging curiosity, and a desire for growth and continuous
learning.
Someone in this role would typically have a BS or MS degree in
Systems Engineering or other relevant Engineering discipline, and 0
to 6 years of relevant Systems Engineering experience.
Successful candidates will be proficient with Microsoft Office
products to prepare written documents and with verbally presenting
at meetings. Experience using requirements management (Cradle,
DOORS, Jama, etc.) and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools
and techniques is strongly desired.
Duties & Responsibilities
Working under the supervision of a Senior Systems Engineer or
Project Manager, some of your major responsibilities will
include:
--- Defining, validating, and tracking verification of system
requirements from all sources.
--- Conducting and supporting trade studies to refine the system
architecture, design solutions, and operational approaches.
--- Developing verification and validation plans and
statements.
--- Supporting verification and validation testing.
--- Creating and maintaining SE&I data and models.
--- Ensuring productive cross-discipline information flow in
integrated product teams.
--- Facilitating design reviews.
--- Developing systems engineering presentations and documents;
and
--- Supporting project management reviews.
Qualifications
REQUIRED
--- Bachelor's degree in systems Engineering or a related field, or
an equivalent combination of education and experience
--- US Citizenship
PREFERRED
--- Experience with the design, assembly, verification, testing,
and operation of space-rated systems, especially human-rated space
systems, or of other systems with similar complexity or
criticality
--- Experience with NASA JSC Flight Hardware Life Cycle,
Certification, and Engineering processes
