to live healthier lives!We are seeking a Bilingual Community Health
Worker to engage with community members to ensure awareness of
available services and resources. They will be an advocate for the
needs of the communities and work to address social determinants of
health and improve access to healthcare services. This role will
organize and lead workshops, health fairs, and community events to
raise awareness about significant health topics. This role oversees
the coordination of program planning including implementation,
events, and communication.We have two openings available for this
position (one full-time and one part-time). Hours are dependent on

and policy changes.Required Qualifications:Associate degree in
applicable field or equivalent combination of education and
experienceFour years of experience in public relations, outreach,
training, or related areasStrong verbal and written communication
skills in English and SpanishMust have valid State of TX Driver's
licenseDepartment of State Health Services (DSHS) certification,
certified CHW and/or CHWI, Promotora Certification of Training, or
ability to successfully complete Promotora CertificationPreferred
Qualifications:Two years of related experience as a Community
Health Worker working with Spanish-speaking community members,
stakeholders, and completing research and outreach activitiesPublic
relations and marketing experienceExperience with assisting or
leading training effortsExperience with data collection and data
management effortsKnowledge of health care educationWhat you need
to knowSalary: $19.23 hourlyPlease note: This position is grant
funded; future employment may be contingent upon future
funding.Other Requirements and Factors: Work beyond normal office
hours including adaptable work hours on weekends/evenings. Will
require occasional travel outside of Harris County as well as
substantial travel within Harris County in the Manchester, Houston,
TX area. Must have reliable transportation to complete work-related
travel. Will require the ability to temporarily store data in home
