Position Summary

What you'll do

Join an innovative team to ride the rapidly-evolving and highly dynamic wave of AI, ML, and Generative AI. As a Business Intelligence (BI) Analysis Intern, you will play a crucial role in our data-driven decision making process by assisting in the development of BI reports and data pipelines, and by translating business needs into analytical solutions. This role will be responsible for ensuring effective communication between developers and stakeholders, reviewing deliverables for quality and accuracy, identifying emerging trends, and contributing to the overall success of our BI initiatives.
Your job responsibilities and projects will be based upon your experience and educational background to provide real life application of your classroom knowledge. You'll work closely with a mentor to ensure your developmental goals are met and that you meet your performance expectations.

This is a paid Summer Internship Program (May to early August).

Duties & Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL

--- Develop analytical reports that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
--- Assist in developing data ingestion pipelines to streamline data processing.
--- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for BI solutions.
--- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
--- Review code for quality and accuracy to ensure adherence to best practices.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

--- 3rd or 4th year undergraduate student at an accredited University, pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related field.
--- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
--- Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
--- Understanding of database querying languages (SQL).
--- Understanding of data modeling best practices and architecture.
--- Familiarity with Agile methodology.
--- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office 365 suite.
--- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
--- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
--- No relocation or housing assistance is being offered.

DESIRED

--- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python and C#.

Additional Information

This position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office. Hybrid work schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business need.
