Job Description:
We are looking for a Diaphragm Press Operator to join our
growing team in Tomball, TX!Precision Fluorocarbon Inc. is a
leading manufacturer of custom plastic components, specializing in
compression molded PTFE, thermally formed PTFE diaphragms, custom,
and machined plastic components. PFI produces consistently precise
and uniform plastic products for a wide range of industries
including aerospace, medical, motorsports, oil & gas,
pharmaceutical, pump, semiconductor, and valve. PFI has extensive
knowledge and experience working with various types of plastics,
ensuring the highest quality and customization for their customers.
No phone calls or recruiters please.SUMMARY:The Diaphragm Press
Operator will set up and run the Diaphragm, Clicker, and Hydromet
Press machines, accurately and in a timely manner, to produce
excellent quality molds and/or parts in accordance with
specifications, planned processes, times, and quality, and ensure
the assigned equipment is maintained as needed. JOB DUTIES: Sets-up
all Diaphragm, Clicker, and Hydromet Presses accurately and in a
timely manner.Accurately weighs all resin containers prior to use
and after use, records information on Inventory Log Sheets, and
accurately reports amount used for Work Orders.Accurately records
number of blanks taken on appropriate Inventory Log.Molds parts
accurately (conforms to specifications and processes as recorded on
Work Orders) and in a timely manner.Properly die cuts parts
(conforms to specifications and processes as recorded on Work
Orders) and in a timely manner.Properly and accurately clocks in
and out of work and jobs.Properly and accurately records completed
diaphragms and / or molds.Properly and accurately records scrap /
waste.Maintains work area neat and clean. Follows all safety rules
and regulations.Attains goal for Machine Hours versus Payroll
Hours.Attains goal for Actual Hours versus Planned Hours on Work
Orders.Attains goal for scrap and waste.Loads ovens as
needed.Properly handles, uses, operates, and relocates / stores all
tooling and dies used.Follows all Company policies and procedures
in department. Maintain a clean and orderly work area, a maintain

historyQUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:Accredited High school diploma or
general education degree (GED) required.One to three months'
experience in a manufacturing facility highly desired.PHYSICAL
