JOB TITLE: -Evening / Overnight Quality Assurance SupervisorDEPARTMENT: -Quality Assurance - -PAY: -$18 / hour (Subject to change based on experience and certifications held)JOB TYPE / SCHEDULE: -Full-Time. -Currently Monday through Friday but must be available on weekends if necessary for projects or other scheduled activities. -REPORTS TO: -Director of Food Safety
POSITION OVERVIEW - - - - - - - - -Bread Man Baking Company is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Evening / Overnight Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our bakery team. -In this role, you will ensure that our baked goods comply with food safety, HACCP, and SQF regulations. - - - - - - - - - -You will verify that our baked goods meet the highest quality and food safety standards and work closely with the production team to address any issues that may arise. -ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY - - - - - - - - -Food Safety - Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP and SQF regulations, including proper handling, storage and sanitation practices. - - - - - - - - -Documentation - Maintain accurate records of quality and critical control point checks. -All inspections and corrective actions taken are to be documented and reported in a timely manner. - - - - - - - - -Quality Control - Monitor and inspect finished products and ingredients for adherence to quality standards. - - - - - - - - - -Issue Resolution - Address and resolve any food safety or quality issues that arise during the Evening / Overnight shift, coordinating with other departments as needed. -Direct communication with the Director of Food Safety is required for major or critical non-conformances. - - - - - - - - -Training - Assist in training new and existing staff on food safety practices and quality assurance procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS - - - - - - - - -Must be bilingual, English and Spanish speaking - - - - - - - - -Experience - Minimum of 1 year of experience in quality assurance or food safety role, preferably in a bakery or food production environment. - - - - - - - - -Supervisory - Minimum of 1 year of experience in a supervisory or leadership role. - - - - - - - - -Knowledge / Skills - Strong understanding of quality control principles, food safety regulations, and bakery production processes. -Strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. - - - - - - - - -Education / Certifications - High School diploma or equivalent required. -HACCP Certification preferred, but not required. - - - - - - - - -Physical Requirements - Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment. -
