Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Server & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing server-side infrastructure, supporting virtualization platforms, and contributing to our ongoing cloud initiatives-primarily within Microsoft Azure. This role is ideal for someone with solid hands-on experience across both traditional and cloud infrastructure who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities: Manage and support Windows-based server infrastructure, including patching, upgrades, and performance tuning.
Deploy, configure, and maintain VMware/vSphere environments and related virtualization technologies.
Collaborate with the team on infrastructure modernization efforts, including cloud adoption and migration.
Design, implement, and maintain Azure-based infrastructure services (IaaS, PaaS).
Ensure systems are secure, reliable, and aligned with best practices for availability and disaster recovery.
Assist with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and other core infrastructure components.
Participate in infrastructure planning, documentation, and lifecycle management.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related incidents and performance issues.
Work with cross-functional teams including Security, Networking, and Application teams.


Required Qualifications: 5-10 years of IT experience with a focus on server infrastructure and virtualization.
Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server (2016, 2019, or newer).
Proficient in VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter administration.
Solid experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, networking, resource groups, VMs, storage).
Familiarity with scripting or automation (PowerShell preferred).
Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and general network concepts.
Experience with system monitoring and alerting tools.
Ability to manage priorities and work on multiple projects simultaneously.


Preferred Qualifications: Microsoft certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-700, or similar)
VMware certifications (e.g., VCP)
Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
Experience with hybrid environments (on-prem to Azure integrations)
Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery strategies
