Job Description:

The Logistics Account Manager is responsible for the complete sales process which includes prospecting, lead generation, solution pricing and closing customer business. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with the ability to listen & analyze customer needs, create solutions that deliver high customer service value. In this Logistics Customer Account Manager (Sales) role, you will develop and grow new and existing business while maximizing relationships with carriers and customers - utilizing relationships, networking and negotiations to grow already existing profitable customer relationships.

Background Required
-Freight Brokerage Sales and Operations (2+ years)
-Customer Sales or Account Management experience, with verifiable sales growth track record (2+ years)
-Creating a carrier following to support your customers using effective negotiation skills
-Transportation Mode experience (Combination of modes. i.e., Truckload, LTL, Intermodal, Flatbed, Produce, Temperature Controlled, Specialized, Over-dimensional, HazMat, etc.)
-Experience with FTL/LTL transportation to Canada and Mexico (including transborder operations)
-Experience running load boards such as DAT, Internet Truckstop
-Excellent communication skills - Verbal, written, and presentation; with diligent follow-up skills
-High energy, persistent, and result driven Team player
-Freight forwarder experience, a plus
-Bilingual, a plus
