Description:Our Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) position is
an integral part of our treatment team. As an RBT you will have the
opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals with
Autism Spectrum Disorders and their families by employing
principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to increase skill levels
and reduce behaviors that are impeding learning.Not an RBT yet? No
problem, we will provide you with the necessary training and cover
all fees to become a Registered Behavior Technician!Job
Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on treatment to individuals with Autism Spectrum
Disorders in a 1:1 ratio
- Utilize principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to teach
impactful skills such as: communication skills, social skills,
daily living skills
- Implement treatment plan and behavior intervention plans
developed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect data utilizing latest technological programs
- Provide updates on progress through written and verbal
communication
- Communicate well with team members and supervisors
- Adhere to organizational policies and procedures including
following HIPAA laws. Requirements:
- Strong desire to serve children with autism and other
developmental delays
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Upbeat and positive attitude
- Ability to manage time independently and multi-task
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have excellent attendance and punctuality
- Experience with children and/or individuals with special needs
is preferred
- Must pass background screening
- Full Time Schedule (M-F 8:15am-4:00pm)
- This role has physical qualifications that must be met such as
the ability to be physically active for 30 minutes, respond quickly
from any position, and the ability to lift or support 50
pounds.Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive hourly wages: $16-$25 with experience
