Job Details

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will work as a member of a team primarily focused keeping all production systems running smoothly in our global cloud infrastructure.

A Site Reliability Engineer needs to bring

• 10+ years working in enterprise computing environments
• 5+ years of experience working in AWS
• Bachelor's or master' degree in Computer Science or related field
• Strong interest in SRE topics like SLO/SLA/SLIs, monitoring, resilience, scaling, and risk management
• Background with enterprise monitoring and APM using Datadog or similar
• Solid scripting experience in one or more languages - Python, Powershell, Go, Bash
• Ability to drive root cause investigation and post-mortem discussions
• A desire for high-quality code and software engineering processes
• Experience administering Linux operating systems
• Ability to effectively communicate with anyone
• A passion for continuous learning and understanding everything cloud
• A detail-oriented, collaborative, and self-motivated approach
• A bias for action with a focus on quality
  Ways to stand out from the crowd
  
  • AWS Professional level certifications
  • Terraform experience to deploy infrastructure with code
  • Containerization - ECS, EKS, Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher
  • Cloud automation tools, CI/CD pipelines, mobile applications
  • Exposure to Machine Learning, AI, or Big Data
  • Experience working in other public cloud environments
