We are searching for a highly qualified Accreditation Analyst to provide support for our UHC Quality team. -This position is responsible for assistance and guidance on clinical quality improvement and NCQA Health Plan accreditation for First Survey, LTSS and the Medicaid Module. -

You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute in Phoenix, Arizona as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Developing and preparing documentation for NCQA and other accreditation surveys submissions
  • Provide meeting logistics support including scheduling, coordinating with remote participants, material preparation, ensure audio visual and telecom needs are met, record minutes from meetings, provide post meeting materials and distribution to attendees
  • Meet frequently with leaders for proactive meeting support including preparations before critical meetings
  • Works closely with health plan staff partners to build and document compliance with accreditation standards
  • Interpret complex data and draws conclusions
  • Complete reports that provide analysis of data related to key quality projects
  • Present results of data analysis to diverse stakeholders
  • Organizes and/or participates in readiness assessments in preparation for accreditation survey submissions
  • Interface with accreditation agencies and other state regulatory bodies
  • Participates in the development and distribution of accreditation best practices
  • Develop and review policies and procedures that support accreditation activities
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and in scope
  • Serves as point of contact, consultative resource, and subject matter expert in all aspects of Accreditation

    Required Qualifications:


    • 2+ years of Stars, HEDIS measure technical specifications, Quality, Auditing, or accreditation experience
    • 2+ years of experience working in a healthcare environment
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, including visual representation of quality data and trends
    • Candidate must be based in Arizona


      Preferred Qualifications:


      • CPHQ or other quality designation
      • Experience working in quality
      • Familiar with Medicaid regulatory requirements
      • Flexibility and quick adaptation to change is key
      • Demonstrated success with meeting or exceeding identified targets or goals
      • Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely
      • Ability to work in a cross functional environment
      • Ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic environment
      • Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities
