As Senior Production Technologist, you'll provide petroleum engineering input to multi-disciplinary projects including field development planning, reservoir and well performance evaluation, production forecast and optimization, well placement, decision, and risk analysis.

Your responsibilities will include:




  • Creating and managing overall plans, which are optimized to the needs of the client
  • Appling sound business judgment in areas, such as the use of technology, economic evaluations, strategic thinking, and contractual work to help clients with complex projects
  • Managing multi-discipline projects for RTS - Baker Hughes and developing an extensive industry network from which new business for RTS - Baker Hughes can be realized
  • Serving as an advisor to the staff and management on Petroleum Engineering matters - mentoring and developing talent, and actively participating in recruiting new talents
  • Providing peer reviews of deliverables to clients
  • Driving proactive customer service initiatives, conducting regular customer visits related to his/her projects, and identifying & developing new business opportunities
  • Leading project delivery teams in creating and implementing competency standards and operational procedures to ensure technical and service excellence
  • Developing and maintaining close links with other Subsurface disciplines such as Reservoir Engineering, Production Technologist, Drilling and Completions, Geomechanics and Production Chemistry.

    To be successful in this role you will:







    • Have a Bachelors of Science degree in a related discipline, or have equivalent relevant experience
    • Have a broad Petroleum Engineering background and with good Management Skills that can be applied to integrated projects
    • Be able to provide petroleum engineering input to multi-disciplinary projects including field development planning, production optimization and forecasting, decision, and risk analysis.
    • Be able to conduct petroleum engineering studies using appropriate state of the art techniques. This includes Nodal Analysis, PVT, Integrated Asset Modelling, Pressure Transient Analysis and Production Logging, Material Balance, Decline Curve Analysis, production allocation, well monitoring, flow modeling and assurance. Possess strong knowledge of well completion and design
    • Preferably have experience in stimulation design (e.g. hydraulic fracturing) and artificial lift evaluation & design
    • Have experience with leading petroleum engineering applications. Should have experience of presenting data, interpretations, and reports to clients either individually or as part of the larger project team
