Job Description:
Energy Transfer Partners - We are one of the largest Master
Limited Partnerships with one of the most diversified portfolios of
energy assets in the United States, totaling more than 115,000
miles of natural gas, crude oil, natural gas liquids and refined
products pipelines, traversing 36 states with associated terminals,
storage, and facilities.Summary: This position is responsible for
the accurate reporting of the interstate pipeline assets utilizing
various tools including GIS, ArcMap, etc. This includes research,
modifications and updates to the pipe specifications, pipeline
features and pipeline facilities.Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:Ability to use ArcGIS to Create and Edit Linear
and Stationing Route Events, Activity Reporters,
Reconciling/Posting Versions, use of GPS Surveying and reports and
generation of Alignment Sheets for Quality Control in order to
upkeep the Integrity of Pipelines.Ability to read and utilize
drawings, schematics, alignment sheets and Detail Meter station
drawings.Manage activities with a focus on preparation of
assessment of Transmission and Gathering Lines, Quality Control of
Reroutes and as built.Corrects Stationing, Linear Maintenance and
Pipeline Information upon Request.Ability to research pipeline
Historical Data such as: Material Lists, Completion Reports,
AFE/Work Order Authorization, Hydro Tests, Mill Tests and
Management of Change forms and documents.Ability to research
archived hardcopy Pipeline Asset Documentation through Project
Boxes, Field Retrieval, Verbal Communication with Project Managers
and implementation of CFR 192 and 195.Works closely with Integrity
Project Managers and other internal/external
customers.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum of
2-3 years of related pipeline experience.Knowledge and experience
using GIS Software, ArcMap UPDM and ArcCatalog Tools and
techniques.Good computer skills - proficiency with Microsoft Word
and Excel is required.Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills.Strong organization skills and the ability to work in a team
environment.Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal
supervision.Working Conditions:Usually, normal office working
conditions.Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of
the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.Occasional
overnight travel may be required.Occasional visits to
industrial/manufacturing settings which may include hazardous
materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions
and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective
equipment.Summary: This position is responsible for the accurate
reporting of the interstate pipeline assets utilizing various tools
including GIS, ArcMap, CAD (MicroStation) etc. This includes
research, modifications and updates to the pipe specifications,
pipeline features and pipeline facilities. Should have good
understand of a records document management system and how to
identify existing records and documents, analysis the information
and relate them to the assets.Requirements: Education and/or
experience, knowledge, skills & abilities:High school diploma or
equivalent.Minimum of 2-3 years of related pipeline
experience.Knowledge and experience using GIS Software, ArcMap UPDM
and ArcCatalog, Tools and techniques. CAD (MicroStation).Good
computer skills - proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel is
required.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong
organization skills and the ability to work in a team
environment.Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal
supervision.
