America's Swimming Pool Company (ASP) of Central Houston has immediate opportunities for an engaging, customer-focused Pool Maintenance Technician to join our team of swimming pool professionals.

-- Primary Responsibilities --

The Pool Maintenance Technician position is responsible for routine weekly pool cleaning and equipment maintenance for residential and commercial pools. This includes following our proven pool cleaning methods, handling pool chemicals in a controlled and safe manner, following all established protocols, and sharing lessons learned with the rest of our team. They must enjoy working outdoors in all conditions and thrive in an environment where they are actively problem solving.

A Pool Maintenance Technician at ASP Central Houston will:

• Manage a swimming pool route that includes the cleaning of swimming pools each week.
• Maintain a stocking of chemicals on the truck and properly adjust the water chemistry for each pool each week.
• Be able to utilize a smart phone for our Pool Ops mobile platform.
• Be able to spot equipment repair needs and communicate those needs to the office and/or customer.
• Participate in or complete other tasks as needed by the ASP Central Houston team
  The ideal Pool Maintenance Technician candidate can provide excellent customer service, work as part of a service team, love to work outdoors, be a self-starter, and be able to work independently with minimal guidance and supervision. They will handle all matters with integrity and embrace the concept and requirements of delivering "5-Star Resort-Quality Service".
  
  -- Job Requirements --Character and teamwork are paramount to making sure each customer is pleased with our work and each teammate can succeed. The minimum requirements for our Pool Maintenance Technician are:
  
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
  • Ability to work outdoors year round in all conditions common to Houston
  • Smartphone (stipend provided)
  • Agree to a background check and drug screen
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certified Pool Operator License is appreciated but not required

      The Pool Maintenance Technician position currently averages 15-25 hours/week but is expected to increase as the pool season approaches and more clients are added to the schedule. We offer competitive compensation based on candidate experience and continued success. This position also has the potential of earning bonus pay and/or incentive pay when goals are met.

      Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
