As part of the team, this role will participate in all aspects of Corporate Finance & FP&A company wide. The role will prepare executive level briefings on business performance, providing variance analysis and forecasting to help the business meet its strategic and financial targets. Additionally, this role will be a key partner to business leadership and report directly to the Director of Finance. This position is very hands-on with the business, and qualified candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced and high-growth environment with a strong business acumen. A strong candidate will display excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills with an ability to drive insights for better, faster decision making. • Supports the company's financial models for forecasting, including 3-statement modeling, capital budgeting, bottoms-up planning, scenario analysis
• Supports explanation of financial performance through monthly variance analysis of financial statements, highlighting key trends and analyzing the cause of unexpected variances using both financial and non-financial variables
• Key contributor to annual financial planning process, providing key analytics and strategic insights to business leaders, finance, and executives
• Support preparation of monthly executive business reviews and board of director presentations
• Provides analysis of business unit and department financial performance and reporting
• Support ongoing efforts to acquire new companies through forecasting, diligence, and integration support
• Key partner for finance and accounting teamsLet's work together to succeed together! - Relevant experience in the following areas will get you off to a great start:
  • 0-3 years of experience in banking, public accounting, corporate FP&A or other analytical roles
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting
  • Detail oriented with excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Strong business acumen and an inquisitive mind into underlying drivers of business performance
  • Creative problem solving with an ability to take ambiguous problems and turn them into practical solutions
  • Intermediate Excel skills preferred
  • Beginner Microsoft Power BI and or Tableau skills preferredWork Schedule/Travel - Standard Meriplex business hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with flexibility to meet deadlines.
