Title:GHC - HomeSafe -Director of Optimization of International OperationsHomeSafe Alliance is the single global household goods movement manager for USTRANSCOM and the U.S. Armed Forces, Department of Defense civilians, U.S. Coast Guard, and their families.HomeSafe Alliance is seeking highly skilled and motivated Director of Optimization of International Operations to drive development and implementation of HomeSafe's transportation and logistics strategies for the movement, consolidation and dispatch of all military household goods, autos, and freight Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS).POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• Optimize the consolidation and routing of international military household goods shipments to and from the continental United States
• Selection of TMS optimization software, tailored implementation
• Given GHC is the single move manager optimize ocean shipping, rates and routes, port agent consolidation, iUB commercial air shipments
• Develop global lift van management recommendation and implementation
• Identify global supply chain leading indicators and routing adjustment to ensure RDDs are achieved
• Deliver quality, on-time packing, shipping, and delivery of military customer household goods
• Implement LEAN tools and techniques for continuous improvement of HomeSafe logistic strategies, processes, and procedures
• Track and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) /SLAs performance metrics. - Identify trends, determine root cause analysis, implement effective corrective action plans to ensure KPIs/SLA performance metrics are achieved
• Control costs, reduced claims, improve customer satisfaction, and create a positive and safe work environment for employee retention.
• Improve the customer move experience while improving operational income
• Responsible for achievement of International Operations annual budget Profit & Loss Revenue, Op Income, and Margin goals
• Optimize resources supporting International Military Household Goods shipments transportation operations
• Identify and develop business opportunities and partnerships that drive revenue growth, improved efficiencies, and quality service
• Develop and manage international subcontract partner companies' performance and relationships
• Develop strategic relationships with ocean carriers, port agents, freight forwarders, moving companies to meet capacity scalability, quality of performance, and conformance with HomeSafe StandardsQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of coursework and experience in directly related field required
  • Master's degree preferred
  • 7+ years of related transportation and logistics industry experience
  • Prior ocean carrier and air carrier rate filing experience
  • 3+ years of International Operations Manager of Household Goods Moving Services for Corporate, COD, Military markets
