Description
The Application Developer will build mid-level to highly sophisticated custom applications in a web application, IaaS portal environment and/or PaaS environment, following ConocoPhillips' standard methodologies. The Application Developer will also participate in the design and architecture of custom software solutions to meet business needs along with researching new technologies as they become available.
If you are selected as the Application Developer, you will work in the Application & Automation Development Team as part of Applied Digital Technologies team. Our team supports the Information Technology and is the Center of Excellence for all developers including developers in the Capability Teams. In this role, you will support and enhancement inhouse-built applications and work on projects to develop new applications' business on business need.
You may be eligible for the voluntary hybrid office work (HOW) program that is designed to provide employees with flexibility while maintaining the advantages of in-person engagement.
This position is based in Houston, TX or Bartlesville, OK.
Your responsibilities may include:

• 
  Working with other IT organizations to ensure quality support and delivery to the end-user
  
  
• 
  Assist with maintaining and reviewing existing application portfolio
  
  
• 
  Being responsible for the support and maintenance of assigned applications with a high-level of quality
  
  
• 
  Lead/Participate in operational initiatives
  
  
• 
  Develop high quality custom .Net applications in the .Net web application environment
  
  
• 
  Develop high quality applications in the cloud platform environment (hpaPaaS)
  
  
• 
  Using ConocoPhillips' change management processes to prevent disruptions and outages
  
  
• 
  Working with business analysts and solution integrators to understand business requirements in order to provide timely assessments and build technical designs
  
  
• 
  Crafting and updating documentation for ongoing support of web applications
  
  
• 
  Researching and recommending solutions that best meet the business needs and Enterprise operational requirements
  
  
  Qualifications:
  Basic/Required:
  
  • 
    
  • 
    Must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or national, or an alien admitted as a permanent resident, refugee or asylee

    1 years of experience working with relational databases (SQL/Oracle)
    
    
  • 
    1 years of experience with the following technologies:

    Coding IDE - i.e., Visual Studio,

    Beginner proficiency in source control practices and patterns (Git workflow, branching/merging, etc.)

    Preferred:
