Job Description:

PCB Designer - Electronics TechnicianResponsibilities:* Develop and draft PCB designs for printed circuit boards with guidance from Electrical Engineers.* Interface with Electrical, Mechanical and Production staff from design to final product.* Create and manage PCB documentation including BOM, fabrication and assembly package* Test and debug completed PCBs to ensure correct manufacture, assembly and operation* Work with vendors and purchasing to ensure appropriate vendor design guidelines for manufacturability are incorporated into each design and to ensure design details are properly transferred to vendors.Job Requirements:* Associate's Degree and/or equivalent technical training/certification in electrical engineering.* Ability to perform Schematic capture and PCB layout design using Altium tools is preferred.* Understanding of good board layout practices for both high speed operation and noise immunity* Good knowledge of SMT PCB layout, package sizes and IPC standards.* Strong understanding of circuit board design and design for manufacturability.* Troubleshoot and repair PCBs and wire harnesses.* Effective oral and written communication skills.For more than 80 years, Tuboscope has provided the industry with oilfield tubular expertise and an integrated suite of value-added solutions.
