Job Description:
**Overview:** Incumbent will be responsible for supporting the
Director, Benefits ensuring employee Health & welfare programs are
carried out in accordance with company policies and prevailing
laws. Administers the full cycle for Leave of Absence process.
Collaborates with other Benefits team members to create and
distribute relevant written and verbal information to employees
regarding Benefits programs across Conn's.**Key Duties &
Responsibilities:**+ Administers and tracks Leaves of Absence
process from initiation through final resolution partnering with
LOA vendor, HR managers, and department leadership accurately
interpreting and applying Federal leave laws, including FMLA,
USERRA, ADA, and State sick leave laws, as applicable.+ Maintains
reasonable communication with employees on leave to facilitate
smooth and timely return to work; relays communication between
employees and their managers during leave within reason.+ Advises
employees regarding rights and responsibilities related to leaves
of absence, and company leave policies & procedures.+ Oversees the
return-to-work process for employees returning from extended
leaves.+ Facilitates other leave requests, which may include
accommodation requests under the ADA.+ Partners with Payroll to
ensure proper benefits deductions are occurring with each payroll
process.+ Tracks and codes employee PTO during leaves of absence.+
Collects and tracks benefit premiums from employees during leaves
of absence.+ Advises employees regarding benefits eligibility,
provisions and other matters related to Benefits+ Ensures timely
review, preparation and submission of Benefits documents, forms,
and reports.+ Assists with the development and facilitation of
Benefits policies and procedures+ Ensures compliance with COBRA,
HIPAA, and ERISA provisions and files required State and Federal
reports, as needed.+ Assists with benefits invoice processing and
monthly reconciliations with providers+ Provides support to HR
Senior Leadership on special projects as needed+ Other duties as
assigned.**Required Experience**+ One (1) or more years of Human
Resources or Benefits related experience+ Bachelor's degree or high
school diploma with 1 or more years of related experience+
Effective time management skills to multi-task and manage multiple
projects simultaneously+ Strong organizational interaction and
presentation skills including excellent interpersonal and
communication abilities (both verbally and written)**Preferred
Experience**+ Experience within a retail organization+ Experience
with Oracle Cloud**Skills & Abilities:**+ Organized and
detail-oriented+ Effective time management skills to multi-task and
manage multiple projects simultaneously+ Strong organizational
interaction and presentation skills including excellent
interpersonal and communication abilities (both verbally and
written)+ Exhibit strong computer skills with demonstrated
experience in Microsoft Office products with a focus in Word/Excel
and Web-Based applications+ Ability to maintain a high degree of
confidentiality and professionalism with strong attention to
