The Regulatory Analyst is responsible for supervising the
collection, analyzation and organization of company data for
preparation and compilation of reports and filings to the Federal
Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). As an industry specialist, you
will provide expert testimony before federal or state regulatory
bodies and lead projects of significant complexity. The ability to
translate and communicate obscure regulatory requirements to
internal, cross-discipline groups and work in a team environment
are key to success in this role!

For a Regulatory Analyst Lead
Responsibilities/Expectations:
Coordinates the development of rate case positions on significant
issues
Analyzes FERC orders related to filings and communicates company
impact
Prepares and files tariff changes to meet the business needs of
company partners
Coordinates responses to FERC and customer's data request
Collaborates with company partners to gather and review data for
FERC certificate filings and reports and ensure they are consistent
with business strategies and practices
Provides expert testimony before federal or state regulatory
bodies
Supports commercial and business development teams to evaluate new
opportunities/services
Develops, reviews and provides input into legal pleadings
Consults as a specialist on FERC regulatory matters
Provides expertise to offshore commercial partners and others on
tariff interpretations
Collaborates with offshore partners to identify and review data for
FERC certificate filings to ensure they are consistent with
offshore business strategies, practices, and FERC regulations
Prepares all FERC related reports in a timely manner
Mentors others
Other duties as assigned
Education/Years of Experience:
Required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics,
Engineering or related field and a minimum of six (6) years'
experience in interstate pipeline work
Preferred: MBA
Other Requirements:
Understanding of onshore and offshore natural gas FERC regulated
filings
Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and
safety as the utmost priority
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
Direct experience in interstate regulatory area
For a Regulatory Analyst Sr.
Responsibilities/Expectations:

Analyzes new FERC pronouncements, identified potential effects on
the company, devises and implements efficient solutions for
compliance
Prepares and files tariff changes to meet the business needs of
company partners
Runs and maintains an electronic Tariff and the Informational
Postings website
Assists in the development of responses to FERC and customer data
requests
Collaborates with company partners to gather and review data for
FERC certificate filings and reports and ensure they are consistent
with business strategies and practices
Supports commercial and business development teams to evaluate new
opportunities/services
Provides input into legal pleadings
Monitors FERC regulations, requirements, and industry trends
pertaining to filings and compliance
Maintains current knowledge of the regulatory process and
requirements
Provides expertise to offshore commercial partners and others on
tariff interpretations
Collaborates with offshore partners to identify and review data for
FERC certificate filings to ensure they are consistent with
offshore business strategies, practices, and FERC regulations
Prepares all FERC related reports in a timely manner
Mentors others
