Job Description: Procures materials from suppliers at the lowest cost consistent with considerations of quality, reliability of source and urgency of need. Monitors key sales and operations planning performance indicators, cost-to-serve performance data. Coordinates cross-functional work teams to increase efficiency of supply chain initiatives. Studies market trends, collaborates with vendors and recommends on purchase orders and deliveries. Supervises preparation of orders and follows up to expedite delivery and shipment. Develops and maintains necessary records and reports. Typically, would possess a degree in Materials and Logistics Management often has CPM certification or similar. Performs work order maintenance within MRP system and monitors MRP outputs and place purchase orders based off forecast requirements. Advanced Excel and interpersonal skills. --- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.+0yrs) --- 2 Years of Relevant Experience --- 2 Years of SAP Experience preferred Comments for Suppliers:
