We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Advanced Electrical
Engineer with expertise in FPGA development to join our dynamic
engineering team and work with cutting edge technology for the
detection of gas leaks. As an FPGA Developer, you will be
responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining
cutting-edge FPGA-based solutions for our innovative projects. Your
work will contribute to the success of our products and ensure
their performance, reliability, and efficiency meet the highest
industry standards. -
This role offers a hybrid working schedule. -
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
---All development phases of the design, simulation, timing
verification, programming, and testing of FPGAs devices. -
---All development phases of the design of electronic circuits and
multilayer printed circuit boards.
---Interface with assembly house to discuss and plan for prototype
builds. -
---Generate documentation for manufacturing printed circuit
assemblies.
---Test and troubleshoot new and existing electronic designs.
---Development of test fixtures to assist engineering, test scripts
for design verification.
---Perform system tests including engineering and regulatory
compliance testingYOU MUST HAVE:
---Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
---5+ years of experience of hardware development, PCB design,
Schematic Capture using - Electronic Design Software Tools using
Altium or Xpedition.
---3+ years of experience programming FPGAs (Quartus prime design
Software experience preferred).
---3+ years of experience with simulation and verification tools
(ModelSim, Questa preferred)
---2+ years of experience of VHDL programming.
---1+ years of experience Testing and Debugging complex embedded
systems using Oscilloscopes, Signal Analyzers, Signal
Generators.
WE VALUE:
---Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
---Experience with JIRA, Teamcenter, Engineering Change
Notifications, ECN.
---Experience with New Product development cycle, concepts,
specifications, and design.
---Experience with Designs for Electromagnetic Compatibility and
EMC standards for industrial applications.
---Experience with FPGA timing analysis
---Communication protocols, SPI, I2C, UART, PoE, GigE.
---Experience with embedded firmware development.
---Experience with Python and test script development to assist in
system level testing.
---Excellent Oral and Verbal Skills
---Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
---Experience writing test plans, test procedures, test reports and
documentation.
---Knowledge of Infrared Technology.
---Ability to consistently make timely decisions when facing with
complex problems.
