Job Title: Automotive Technician / Mechanic Location: -- - Christian Brothers Automotive - 1322 Northpark Dr, Kingwood, TX 77339 Job Overview: We are looking for technicians/mechanics who are skilled, energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for have to seek out solutions to challenging problems with a strong passion for doing what--------s right for our customers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our customers-- -Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles as well as diesel engines.Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspectionsWork as part of a team to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectivelyFollow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organizationWork closely with the service department and effectively communicate customer concerns-- -Work together with other Technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results
Qualifications
Qualifications:-- - Positive attitude and a desire to serve customers5+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanicASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieveCapable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehiclesMeet or exceed hourly goalsAptitude for learning additional skills and processesProfessional appearance and strong communicationA desire for long-term career development Physical Requirements: Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 poundsBe able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their headWork in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle--------s needed repairHave the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand toolsWalk/stand for the majority of their workdayDrive manual transmissions vehiclesEfficiently navigate a computer
