Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Total Productive Maintenance Coordinator will work closely with the plant personnel to lead the development and execution of the TPM Program, conducting training and coaching the teams to drive loss elimination through the implementation of the TPM Program.No phone calls or recruiters pleaseJOB RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain focus on safety in all TPM initiativesUse TPM methodologies to continue the journey to zero incidentsAdhere to and continuously improve all safety policies, procedures and standards Inspires and enables the plant leadership team to successfully drive to zero losses through the deployment of a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) operating systemDemonstrate strategic leadership by working with the plant team members to develop a TPM masterplan for the site that is linked to overall plant objectives of loss elimination.Engage and inspire teams at all levels and across functions to achieve results through TPM Pillars.Build support and shared accountability for successful deployment of TPMPartner with internal and external consultants to effectively support and implement TPMSupports the plant in the TPM executionServe as mentor/coach to develop excellence in the use of TPM methodologiesDevelop and deliver training as needed to build TPM knowledge, awareness, and capability across the plantAnticipate and eliminate barriers to successIdentify, track, and communicate the metrics that measure TPM progressJOB REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Prior experience with TPM development, deployment and leadership of Autonomous Maintenance (AM), Planned Maintenance (PM) or Effective Maintenance (EM), Focused Improvement (FI)Education & Training (E&T), Demonstrated ability to improve business results by working through othersDemonstrated ability to lead change to deliver resultsPREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as computer science or engineering, and several years in project management or engineering, or industrial mechanics, or Industry Certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) 2+ years of TPM/Lean experienceProven track record of successful TPM implementation in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of Syspro ERP.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:Exceptional written and verbal communication skillsAbility to motivate, inspire, and influence others at all levels of the organizationAccessible, open-minded, and able to work well with others, handle resistance or conflict in a productive wayIntellectually strong, able to combine analytical reasoning, creativity, and good judgmentCustomer oriented; understands that all business opportunities start with knowing how to create value for the customerAgent of change which can create momentum for new initiatives while understanding the many different perspectives in the plant; effectively gain support across the organization as neededChallenges the status quoAbility to translate strategy into actionable operating plansActively ListensOrganized, disciplined and process-oriented mindsetValues Standards and standard work processesAn overt simplifier who can effectively and appropriately distill and reduce complex situations, goals, tasks and opportunities to a workable set of fundamentals so that all team members can understand, align and take actionMaintains poise under pressure and readily demonstrates an optimistic natureWe offer competitive pay and excellent benefits, including:Health, Dental, and Vision benefitsCompany paid employee Life insurance, AD&D, and Short-Term DisabilityVoluntary Life, AD&D, STD/LTD401(k) plan with a generous Company matchEvantic/Altamira Material Solutions is an equal employment opportunity employer.
