Job Description:

Position Title: Logistics CoordinatorLocation: South Houston, TXOverview: LK Jordan is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will manage daily operations related to the check-in and check-out of trucks, ensuring smooth coordination with drivers and internal departments. You will effectively communicate with sales teams and yard supervisors while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate communication with department supervisors and upper management via email.
• Manage the truck check-in process and monitor any changes to orders, promptly informing the loading supervisor of adjustments.
• Coordinate with Sales to handle requests, prioritize tasks, and expedite trucks as needed.
• Process packing lists and delivery tickets, ensuring all outbound drivers sign out correctly and document their trucks.
• Maintain adherence to safety standards and ensure the workspace remains clean and orderly.Departmental Duties:
  • Quality Management System (QMS): Comprehend and uphold all procedures and work instructions, adhering to the Quality Policy.
  • Safety Compliance: Use required PPE, report equipment issues and safety hazards, and contribute to a safe work environment.Qualifications:
    • Proficiency in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
    • Ability to interpret industry specifications, charts, and tables.
    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • Basic computer skills; familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.
    • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to multitask and work independently.Shift Details:
      • Two available shifts: 9:00 AM 7:00 PM or 1:00 PM 11:00 PM.
