Flexible hours Mon-Fri 8a-4p is core hours
(Might end up being 1 remote day - Fridays)

Job Title: Engineer 2
Location: Houston, Texas (ONSITE)
Bill Rate: $40-45.00/hour W2 no C2C




Responsibilities:

Develop standard drawings using AutoCAD Electrical for cabinet drawings, BOMs, assemblies, etc.
Use AutoCAD Electrical efficiently to create 80% of drawings for S functional packages within defined timelines.
Coordinate with the engineering team to draft documents for gas turbine control system retrofits.
Draft and edit cabinet schematics, assembly drawings, and power distribution to schematics and assembly diagrams.
Create and modify control system architecture diagrams and network topology drawings.
Draft functional system layouts, loop diagrams, and panel outline diagrams, including I/O wiring details.
Ensure quality and accuracy across all documentation and drawing packages.



Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical, instrumentation, or controls engineering (or equivalent experience).
Software: Proficient with AutoCAD Electrical.
Experience:
Minimum 5+ years in an engineering environment.
Experience working on industrial controls and retrofit systems.
Prior exposure to turbine control systems is a strong plus.




Skills:

Excellent communication (verbal & written), including customer and team interaction.
High attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong time management with the ability to switch between multiple control systems and project requirements.
Ability to handle both technical execution and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.
