Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Security Analyst/Engineer to join our cybersecurity team. This individual will play a key role in proactively identifying, investigating, and mitigating threats to our environment. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in firewalls, EDR, SIEM, application control, PAM, and threat hunting, with a strong background in incident response.

Key Responsibilities: Monitor and analyze security events across SIEM, EDR, and other telemetry sources
Implement new cyber security tools from the ground up
Perform incident triage, containment, investigation, and response activities
Lead and contribute to threat hunting initiatives to detect advanced threats
Manage and optimize firewall configurations and rulesets
Support application control and PAM (Privileged Access Management) enforcement
Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to identify and remediate vulnerabilities
Document incidents, root cause analysis, and mitigation strategies
Recommend and implement security improvements across tools and processes


Required Qualifications: Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a Cyber Security role
Experience with: Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) platforms (CrowdStrike)
SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel)
Threat hunting methodologies and tools
Vulnerability Management (e.g., Rapid7, Nessus, Qualys)
Firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA)
Application control and PAM tools (e.g., CyberArk, BeyondTrust)


Strong understanding of cyber threat landscapes and attack techniques (MITRE ATT&CK)
Familiarity with scripting and automation for investigation and remediation is a plus
Excellent analytical and communication skills


Preferred Certifications: Security+, CySA+, CEH, GCIH, or equivalent
