Our Service Projects Technician installs and/or retrofits new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems (duct and equipment) in commercial and/or industrial settings, reads and interprets blueprints and specifications, and adheres to all safety policies and procedures.

Essential Duties

• Installs and performs retrofits of HVAC systems with intermediate knowledge of piping and/or sheet metal
  tradecrafts.
• Types of equipment worked on will include split systems, mini split systems, VRF multizone systems,
  RTUS, WSHP, self-contained systems, CRAC units, air cooled chillers, cooling towers, airside equipment,
  AHUs and exhaust fans of all types.
• Proficiently operates hand tools, power tools, gauges and measuring/testing equipment.
• Completes quoted projects with high quality while maintaining profitability.
• Develops long-term relationships with customers and explains work performed to the customer's satisfaction.
• Performs sub-contractor management on quoted projects.
• Participates in after-hours quoted projects (as needed) per customer requirements.
• Safely operates motor vehicles and trailers as evidenced by past driving performance record. Meets
  requirements of fleet safety and driving policy and adheres to all company safety requirements.
• Purchases parts, materials, and issues purchase order numbers to suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Maintains equipment, tools, and inventory stock on service vehicle.

  Minimum Requirements
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  • Minimum of 3-6 years of field experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • EPA Universal required
  • Solid foundation in HVAC systems
  • Comfortable working on split systems, package units, RTUs, Heat Pumps, Hydronic Systems, etc.
  • Basic Controls knowledge
  • Team oriented
