A Day In The Life
The Lead Business Analyst plays a key role in supporting and
optimizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365
F&O) and Dynamics AX 2012 for financial and accounting
functions within TFG. This role involves analyzing business
processes, identifying system enhancements, supporting
integrations, and troubleshooting ERP-related issues. The Lead
Business Analyst will work closely with business users, IT teams,
and third-party vendors to ensure smooth operations, system
improvements, and effective reporting solutions. A strong
understanding of financial modules, data management, reporting
tools (SSRS, Power BI, Financial Reporter), and integrations is
essential. Additionally, this is a key role for the Dynamics 365
F&O upgrade project, configuring and setting up the system,
supporting testing, data migration, and training efforts to ensure
a successful transition from Dynamics AX 2012.
As a Lead Business Analyst, EFS you will:
ERP System Analysis & Support
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Dynamics 365 F&O and
Dynamics AX 2012, supporting finance, accounting departments, and
shared services teams.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues, escalating
complex cases as needed.
Work closely with business users to gather requirements, configure
system settings, and recommend process improvements.
Maintain system documentation, configurations, and user guides to
support ERP operations.
Financial Modules & Reporting
Provide expertise in General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts
Receivable, Budgeting, Fixed Assets, Organization Management,
Treasury Automation Suite (ISV solution), Procurement & Sourcing,
and Cash & Bank Management modules.
Support SSRS, Financial Reporter (Management Reporter), and Power
BI reporting for financial and operational data insights.
Assist in financial period closing activities and troubleshooting
posting issues, reconciliations, and financial reporting
discrepancies.
Integrations & Data Management
Work with IT teams to support integrations between Dynamics 365
F&O (AX 2012) and external systems.
Perform data validation, reconciliation, and migration tasks to
maintain system integrity.
Support the Dynamics 365 upgrade project, assisting with data
mapping, cleansing, and all testing activities including unit
testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Testing & System Enhancements
Participate in testing new features, patches, and upgrades to
ensure system stability.
Document and communicate system enhancements, configuration
changes, and business impacts to key stakeholders.
Assist with user training and knowledge transfer for ERP processes
and best practices.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Work closely with finance, accounting, treasury, procurement, and
IT teams to align ERP solutions with business needs.
Support cross-functional projects related to finance
transformation, process automation, and reporting enhancements.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and
Dynamics 365 F&O (AX 2012) users.
What We Need From You
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a
related field. Req
8+ years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O
and/or Dynamics AX 2012. Required
Experience with financial reporting tools (SSRS, Management
Reporter, Power BI). Required
Experience with SQL queries, data extraction, and reporting tools
(SSRS, Power BI, Financial Reporter). Required
Strong functional and technical knowledge of financial modules in
Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O / AX 2012.
Familiarity with data migration, integrations, and ERP support best
practices.
Proficiency in Dynamics 365 F&O (or AX 2012) setup,
configuration and business processes (record to report, procure to
pay, order to cash).
Understanding of finance business processes (GL, AP, AR, FA,
Budgeting, Procurement, Cash & Bank).
Familiarity with ERP integrations, data management, and
reconciliation processes.
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics DMF, OData, business events, or API
integrations is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to diagnose and
resolve ERP issues.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, able to
bridge the gap between business and IT teams.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and
drive process improvements.

about the office and around the corporate campus. The associate
must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25
pounds.
Travel Requirements
10% The associate is occasionally required to travel to other
sites, including out-of-state, where applicable, for business.
