One of the leading Forklift Manufacturers in the world with a
location off the Beltway and 290 area is looking to add a Sr.
Production Scheduling Analyst as soon as possible. This is an
immediate-fill / temporary to permanent position with a starting
pay of $25 hourly (up to $30 for more qualified candidates).
Standard office schedule of Monday thru Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM
with an hour lunch.

The Sr. Production Scheduling Analyst operates within Supply Chain
and Manufacturing where constant communication is required to
prevent production disruption and track our progress toward our
business plan (BP) goals. The Sr. Analyst will be required to
maintain the master production schedule while considering supplier
lead times, production capacity, and orders volume as well as
oversee the Work In Process conditions and statuses of the shop
orders. The Sr. Analyst will also be responsible for communication
between Sales teams and the Manufacturing teams on large and high
priority orders to ensure our shipment commitments are achieved.
This role also includes repetitive daily scheduling of orders and
the management of information on several systems.
- Manage the master production schedule including monitoring
production fulfillment status vs the business plan. The Analyst
will be required to review the alignment of the production plan to
capacity and material plans, and make adjustments to optimize
schedules to achieve the business plan.
- Manage large and high priority orders from order placement to
shipment with Manufacturing teams and report out to Sales and
Operations Managers on a daily basis.
- WIP and CSD (committed ship date) Monitoring: Daily monitoring
and reporting of orders through the mfg process. Analyst is
expected to manage and report on the current status of all orders
while also managing the communication between Manufacturing and
- Order Scheduling: Manage and analyze customer orders for
production scheduling. Analyst will be expected to schedule 95% of
all orders in 5 business days or less. The goal is to maximize the
production plan based business plan targets while minimizing risk
on material availability and manufacturing capacity. Orders
scheduling requires the ability to manage large data sets in Excel
as well as manage data uploads into and from an AS400
- KPI Reporting: Create, manage, and distribute reports based on
our key performance indicators. Reporting must be accurate and
- Order Expediting: Analyst will be required to analyze bills of
materials for potential orders and estimate the lead time to Sales
based on the current production plan, available materials, posted
material lead times and any capacity constraints. Analyst will be
required to monitor all expedited orders until the product is
shipped. All Sales requests must be replied to within 1 business
day and updates provided accordingly.
Sr. Production Scheduling Analyst requirements-
- Bachelor's Degree
- MS Office skills especially Excel (vlookups, pivot tables,
charts, formulas, etc.) and Powerpoint
- effectively communicates with and engage with all levels of the
organization verbally and in writing
- ability to work effectively in cross-departmental
- demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- ability to present in group meeting environments and lead
- good organizational skills
- 3 to 5 years experience in supply chain or manufacturing
- experience in MRP or planning system, IBM, Cognos Analytics
