Essential Functions:The Service Sales Specialist will focus on sales of Haws Services for Haws by proactively developing new business and creating partnerships/strategic alliances with end users, targeted distributors, independent rep network and key specifiers. This individual will play a vital role representing the company by driving Service opportunities through strategy, proposal, presentation, and successful conclusion to the key decision makers including C-suite Executives, Facility Managers and EH&S Leadership. Additionally, this role oversees and drives sales of Haws offerings through the management of end user accounts including Healthcare, Education, Pharma, Oil & Gas, and Power Generation.Other Job Duties:

  • Overall responsibility for leading business development for Haws Services.
  • Identify, qualify, and capture new/existing business within the Industrial, Healthcare and Education markets.
  • Leverage existing customer and channel partner relationships to increase revenue potential and expansion into new markets and customers.
  • Serve as a voice and presence to the marketplace as an enthusiastic and proactive proponent of the industry and Haws Corporation.
  • Develop strategic plans for all major markets covered. Perform End User Trainings to ensure Haws is represented to a high standard in all markets. Develop SMART Goals focused on specific targets and strategic planning to achieve goals.
  • Successfully Lead and perform trainings for the Haws rep sales teams.
  • Analyze initial Request for Proposals (RFPs), produce high-level dialogue/summary and provide an overview in the capture and proposal requirements.
  • Review and approve strategic bids and navigate the customer's procurement process.
  • Prepare strategic customer presentations when applicable.
  • Operate at or below the expense budget.
  • Works synergistically with cross functional Haws departments; operations, manufacturing, marketing, sales, product management and engineering.
  • Assure that market intelligence is received and analyzed so that market opportunities may be capitalized on as they occur, and effects of competitive activity may be minimized.
  • Be a change agent in introducing solution selling for the "end user" (customer) community; be the catalyst in identifying new product offering services that are compelling to customers, reduce their costs and provide a broader base of business with greater margins for Traynor Family Enterprise (out of the box/creative thinking).
  • Secure specifications with key School Districts K-12, Universities, Airports, Healthcare Providers and Hospitality Groups.Targets:Market Segments:

      Supervisory Responsibilities: NoneSkills/Qualifications:
      • Strong written and oral communication skills, presentation skills, and computer skills.
      • Strong sales skills, including motivation for sales, prospecting skills, sales planning, selling to customer needs, territory management, market knowledge, high energy level, meeting sales goals, closing sales and professional demeanor.
      • Ability to lead and motivate an independent sales rep organization.
      • Experience with managing key channel partners, including product/services placement in catalogs, pricing and program management and training of sales teams.
      • Strong background in strategic sales planning and methodologies.
      • Financial acumen in understanding operations, sales, engineering, and developing proposals.
      • Experience in dealing with longer sales cycles (6 - 24 months).
      • Solution based selling experience with the understanding on how to align and become a strategic solutions partner.
      • Selling directly to the key decision makers/C suite level, Facility Managers, and EH&S decision makers.
      • Ability to develop strong relationships and work collaboratively at all levels within the organization and with senior level executives.
      • Exceptional interpersonal and customer skills.

        • Bachelor's degree with 5-10 years sales experience with markets or industry; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.Computer Skills: Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point, SalesForce/CRM).Language Skills: Exceptional command of the spoken and written English language.Reasoning Ability: Strong critical thinking skillsPhysical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
