The Sales Manager's role is to bring in new customers within an assigned territory and actively seek new sales opportunities by building relationships with partners and researching new leads.What does an Sales Manager do?The Sales Manager meets our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will develop sales strategies and attract new clients. The successful Sales Manager will source new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve quotas. The successful incumbent will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of products and services. As an outside sales representative, or sales manager, you will also research sales competition. You will also nourish partner relationships to grow our reputation in the market and gain access to new customer deals. This position may require frequent travel.Sales Manager Responsibilities:"Get the sale"-- - using various customer sales methods (on-site visits, cold calling, presentations, demos,etc)Forecast sales, develop "out of the box"-- - sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectivenessMeet personal and team sales targetsResearch accounts and generate or follow through sales leadsAttend meeting, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developmentsExpand client database within your assigned territoryAchieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully gaining the trust of potential customers and partnersCollaborate with the services team and domain expert to properly scope and sell services and productsDraft, negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits for new customersProactively nourish partner sales rep relationships to become their first choiceDevelop trusted advisor relationships with partner sales reps, customer stakeholders and executive sponsorsForecast and track sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)Prepare reports on sales progressMeet ambitious individual and team-wide sales quotas Requirements:Oracle HCM Cloud sales experience requiredA minimum of two years' Oracle HCM consulting/implementation experienceSuccessful previous experience as a consultant or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targetsDemonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-levelProven ability to drive the sales process from plan to closeStrong business sense and industry expertiseExcellent mentoring, coaching and people management skillsExperience with CRM software (Zoho preferred) and MS OfficeExperience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needsProven ability to juggle multiple deals at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detailExcellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilitiesStrong verbal and written communication skillsMust not be fearful of picking up the phone to cold call (meets & tracks quotas)Follow up and follow through abilityMust be a self-starterMust be able to work independently and possess a "whatever it takes"-- - attitudeBS/MS degree in business administration or a related field preferredOther Job Details:Location: This is a home-based position.
