SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE Dallas, Houston, or San Antonio, Texas ARC Group is in search of a Sales Development Representative for a client who is the largest distributor of HVAC/R equipment, parts the USA. The position can be based out of Dallas, Houston, or San Antonio Texas The role of the Sales Development Representative is to help HVAC contracting business owners improve and scale their business by offering our client's portfolio of technology-enabled products and services. The portfolio is built through a combination of in-house development in the client's incubator and strategic partnerships, investments, or acquisitions. The Sales Development Representative will be offered an opportunity to drive innovation in the HVAC/R industry while working in a startup-minded culture (through a $5B company). This division is continuing to grow fast and has big ambitions. The Sales Development Representative must be a dynamic growth hacker and hustler interested in a sales-driven career based out of Dallas, Houston, or San Antonio, TX. Sales Development Representative Responsibilities What does the typical day look like? Trick question. This is a startup division and there are no such things as a typical day! But here are some of the things you'll likely be doing in the first few months: Drive growth by reaching out to customers proactively (phone, email, in-person), developing relationships, and converting prospects into customers. Work with regional sales reps and account managers to conduct demos and webinars of our products and value proposition Collaborate on marketing initiatives to drive awareness and qualified lead opportunities Work closely with the Customer Success team to onboard and support customers Gain expertise in the Residential HVAC industry, the operations of an HVAC contractor, and the software market for home service providers. Job Requirements:Sales Development Representative Requirements & Qualities: 3-6 years of Business Developer with the following core skills. Communicator Great at communicating over the phone, in person, and via email. Action-Oriented Knows how to work fast and smart and appreciates the importance of constantly moving forward. Sales Some level of sales experience is important. Ideally selling to home service providers or contractors, but that's not a must. Thrives on testing new techniques and constantly improving tactics to deliver results. Fearless as with any great business developer, can move on and learn from a customer rejection. Techie Understands and enjoys working with and learning software and the latest CRM and sales technologies. Would you like to know more about this role?
