Sales SpecialistThis fast-paced job entails the take-off of air moving equipment from specs and plans, the generation of quotes based on project requirements, the processing of orders, the maintenance of a job pipeline to quickly visualize active jobs and contacts, and the submission of submittal packages to customers. The Top Candidate requires a degree of mechanical awareness with strong geometry skills to visualize the fans and heaters in a space, problem solving skills to help the customer select the best equipment for their application, and a willingness to politely and professionally engage with customers to solve their issues via phone and email. The applicant should have a self-starting ability to fluidly work on several projects concurrently throughout the day as required and have the organizational skills to keep on top of several projects large and small so that no item gets missed. A willingness to ask questions and learn are the most important features for this position. Previous knowledge of electrical equipment such as motors, fans, and heaters are helpful but not required. Candidate must have the ability to work independently inside a Team setting.EducationSTEM Technical Orientation Preferred. College DegreeSpanish Written and Verbal skills useful.Computer Skills--- Excel--- Word--- NetSuite--- Outlook--- Product Specific Selection ProgramsJob Duties:--- Interact with customers and suppliers to record equipment requirements for their project--- Obtaining pricing either through proprietary programs or from factory contacts--- Maintenance of electronic project folders to ensure all information is collected--- Writeup of quotes for submittal to customers--- Entry of customers using semi-automated job database entries--- Generation of submittals for information or approval per project requirements--- Monitoring of successful project sales per week--- Actively manage multiple projects thru long and short sales cycles--- Propose processes or identify gaps necessary to improve the sales process--- Willingness to work with a great team to ensure customers' needs are met on time and with a fair price.--- Identify Customers and Industries that could be developed
