Quality Bakery Products, Inc. is one of the leading
manufacturers and suppliers of bakeries and system food services.
Our growing Company is part of an established, privately held,
well-funded, multi-national group with German roots.The current
business has a Texas focus with growth in all States across the
nation. Our customers are serviced by our own truck fleet and
logistic partners. The plant has 130-150 employees, mostly plant
workers, all non-Union, active at the HQ Plant.Role Description:Our
outside sales representative hunts for new business prospects, sets
appointments with decision makers and builds lasting relationships
to increase sales of our bakery finished products and ingredients.
The sales representative also supports our distributors by
collaborating with their sales team on targeted accounts, educating
them on products and applications, and making joint sales calls and
product presentations to help develop close new
business.Responsibilities:Identify, prospect, and open new accounts
with bakeries, restaurants, and retail stores within the greater
(insert city or region covered) area.Conduct meetings, cold calls,
prospecting, and territory buildout to expand the customer base and
achieve sales targets.Maintain and nurture existing client
relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering
long-term partnerships.Knowledge and practice of consultative
selling skills to identify customer needs and base product
recommendations around solutions to fill those needs.Possess strong
sales presentation skills to showcase the product line and close
deals.Must possess excellent organizational skills and be a
self-starter, with outside sales experience.Passion for providing
exceptional customer service, problem solving, and timely
communication to customers, as well as QBP Management and support
staff.Support our distributors within the territory by educating
them on our products and application, assisting in identifying
accounts with potential for our products, and attending joint sales
calls to help close business.Qualifications:Minimum of 2+ years of
B2B outside food sales experience, preferably in the bakery
category.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for
travel within the assigned territory.A background in developing new
business, managing the sales cycle from prospecting to closing and
maintaining accounts.Excellent prospecting and territory buildout
experience.Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation
skills.Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities,
and meet deadlines.Goal and results orientated. Demonstrated
success of meeting and surpassing sales plan.Experience working
closely with independent and multi-chain restaurants, bakeries, and
grocery stores.Experience supporting and working with distributors,
