As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive, diverse team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.How this opportunity is differentAs part of the Broker team, you will work closely in collaboration with other team members and clients focusing on the development of reinsurance solutions.Skills and experience that will lead to successDirect focus on new Facultative broking production - producing new business and assisting in the development of sales and marketing strategy designed to cultivate revenue generation opportunitiesDevelops comprehensive new business sales and development plans for identified targeted prospects and existing clientsWorks closely in collaboration with Aon Treaty and Aon Retail broking teams to focus efforts on the development of new business and building relationships with clients and prospects that align with Facultative business targets, with the understanding that volume of prospecting activity is essentialIdentifies specific client and prospect needs and develops innovative and cost effective solutionsMaintains at all times, a thorough understanding and knowledge of all available Aon resources and solutions available, and matching those to client business requirementsAchieves high client satisfaction by providing exceptional serviceFosters and promotes a team approach to both internal and external business relationshipsRequired Education, Skills and Experience:A minimum of 8 to 12 years broking and/or underwriting commercial lines experience, with a focus on property insuranceBachelor's degreeCPCU or ARE designation or progression towards is preferred but not requiredExcellent knowledge and understanding of commercial property insurance (previous experience in reinsurance is an asset)Exceptional interpersonal skills with capability to interact with major clients to cultivate and maintain strong relationshipsExcellent communicator (both verbally and in writing) with internal and external clientsEntrepreneurial attitude with keen negotiation, business acumen and problem solving skillsStrong organization and time management skills, able to multi task and manage projectsAbility to work independently as a self-starter; committed to delivering the highest in client service, quality and resultsPrevious formal or informal experience in managing teams or direct reportsExpert with top notch client relationship management capabilitiesThe ability to embrace change in support of the business unit's and company's goalsWorking knowledge of MS Office suite of products with ability to learn and use multiple software and system-based applicationsProfessional demeanor with positive attitudeAbility to travelHow we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
