Job Details Description What We Are Looking For The
Peptide/Protein Chemist will hold a pivotal role within the
analytical team, focusing on the identification and
characterization of peptides and proteins. This position demands
proficiency in chromatography and mass spectrometry techniques to
effectively map and analyze peptide sequences. What You Will Do
Execute peptide mapping and characterization utilizing advanced
chromatography (HPLC, UPLC) and mass spectrometry (MS) techniques.
Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methodologies for
peptide and protein identification. Interpret complex datasets to
identify peptide sequences and post-translational modifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development
of peptide-based therapeutics. Perform routine maintenance and
troubleshooting of analytical instrumentation. Document and report
findings in compliance with regulatory standards and internal
protocols. Remain abreast of emerging technologies and
methodologies in peptide mapping and proteomics. Conduct protein
chemistry studies to elucidate protein structure and function.
Develop and validate bioanalytical methods for the quantification
of peptides and proteins in various matrices. Who You Are PhD or
Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience in peptide mapping, chromatography, and
mass spectrometry. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data
interpretation. Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and
documentation practices. Excellent communication and collaboration
skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple
priorities effectively. Preferred Experience Hands-on experience
with HPLC, UPLC, and MS instrumentation. Knowledge of peptide
synthesis and purification techniques. Experience in a
pharmaceutical or biotechnology setting. Understanding of protein
