Job Details Description What You Will Do Provide general maintenance, cleaning, and care of all laboratory equipment Clean glassware, utensils, equipment in lab Clean, organize and maintain all lab areas including stock rooms and other work areas. Prepare and ensure the accuracy and quality of all glassware and utensils Repackaging of inventory items used in lab Utilize proper safety and workflow practices while performing all tasks Ensures disposal of biohazard waste Make media Perform all tasks according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Maintain proper inventory control through all products by applying first in first out of stock rotation Work with Project Microbiologist in inventory management and task timelines Additional support related duties and projects, as assigned Overtime and occasional weekend hours may be required Who You Are High School Diploma Excellent customer service skills and time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to effectively communicate in person and via telephone Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to change Must be detail oriented and a self-starter Entry level Eagle product knowledge Entry level computer skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook and the Internet Qualifications Skills Behaviors : Motivations : Education Experience Licenses & Certifications Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
