Job Description:

Title: Senior Accounting Analyst Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 Bonus Why This Opportunity Stands Out: Join a dynamic accounting team at a well-established publicly traded Oil & Gas company Excellent benefits including 401(k) match, generous PTO, and robust health insurance Hybrid schedule with flexibility and support for work/life balance High visibility across departments and opportunities to work on key projects impacting the organization Career growth potential into senior leadership roles or specialized finance functions Key Responsibilities: Perform monthly and quarterly internal financial data analysis and create ad hoc reports as needed Assist with departmental cost analysis and reporting activities Support preparation of schedules for internal management reporting and SEC disclosures Analyze and ensure proper recording of intercompany transactions Investigate and explain financial statement variances on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis Contribute to the execution of key controls and conduct heavy analysis during month-end close Reconcile select accounts and financial data on a recurring and ad hoc basis Prepare occasional journal entries as part of the close process (minimal portion of role) Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting 7 years of relevant accounting or financial analysis experience Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement analysis
