Skilled Wireman Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Wireman to
join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both
commercial and industrial electrical work, demonstrating
proficiency in reading schematics and utilizing various electrical
tools. This role involves building and installing electrical
systems, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code
(NEC), and maintaining high safety standards throughout all tasks.
Duties Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in
commercial and industrial settings. Read and interpret blueprints,
schematics, and technical drawings to determine wiring layouts.
Utilize power tools, voltmeters, and ohmmeters for installation and
troubleshooting of electrical components. Ensure all installations
comply with NEC standards and local regulations. Collaborate with
other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and safely.
Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify
issues and perform necessary repairs. Assist in frame carpentry as
needed for electrical installations or modifications.
Qualifications Proven experience as a commercial or industrial
electrician is preferred. Strong understanding of electrical
systems, components, and safety protocols. Ability to read and
interpret schematics accurately. Proficiency in using power tools,
voltmeters, and ohmmeters effectively. Knowledge of NEC regulations
is required. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to
detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in
a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to
collaborate with team members and other tradespeople effectively.
